FAQ — Epicor CPC (ECPC)
Any IP-connected device, including robots, torque tools, scanners, IoT Edge devices, PLCs, etc.
ECPC is a web-based solution. Licenses are assigned per active workstation and by required features, similar to Epicor Kinetic licenses. You can configure as many stations as needed, but you only pay for the number of simultaneously active workstations.
These workstations do not include those used only for background data analysis. Licensing applies strictly to operator stations responsible for process control and data collection. No license is required for ECPC configuration.
The engineering team (Engineering Workbench) can create work methods, but ECPC is mainly designed for shop floor operators actively engaged in production activities.
In manufacturing, there is often a distinction between the engineering BOM (Bill of Materials) and the production BOM. ECPC is focused on production. It does not necessarily operate per task, because you could have an operation with 10 activities to perform.
Yes, dashboards can be customized and filtered based on your specific needs, including:

However, all data sent to Epicor can still be integrated into Epicor Grow through its multi-database functionality, as ECPC fully communicates with Epicor. As a result, relevant data can be used in Grow or sent directly to Grow.
